Introduction
After dating an ex, who had precognitive dreams, and who was into tarot, I got curious
again. I had originally dismissed it
as namby pampy nonsense when my mum first played around with it. though she never
got into it serioulsy, in fact she refused to read it, because she got scared people
were taking it too seriously, and well i never bothered with it. till then.
then after i picked up a thoth deck, and tried to do a celtic cross reading, i scared
myself shitless, and back then i was getting plesure waves, which seems to kick in occasionly and for the correct meaning to use.
i changed my view, thats roughly november 2005. when i changed sides, and joined
the psychics instead.
not like i've done many reading for people, exs mainly. they are easier
to deal with. as i get more support. other then that i've done myself. thats about
it. but enough to get a feel for things.
however i warn you, you can read too much into things. especially when its on a
topic you don't want a negative, and that has led me to fall into the trap of trying
to reread the cards, as i bang my head on the dragon table, and break its ear, before
i go and get a positive reading, and then ignore the advice, and go rushing over,
and well perhaps not everythings writen in the cards, have brain, must use it.
there is a time and a place, to break psychic development, and spiritual experiences,
and its not when your ex is pissed at you. in fact, its the type of thing, which
yes means you never get to hear from them again...
so discretion assured.
In my defence back then i was worried about the "psychic side", and was cracking up under the
strain, of not having anyone to talk to about it, hence it fell natural
to fall to her. but i blew it, and came on too strong. ergo the moral of the storey is,
don't keep reading the deck. The same issues aren't going to change,and
once you have dug a hole, lie in it. This isn't going to change anything,
and it gets noncence after awhile.
so treat your "Liliths" as you'd treat your cards, leave them well alone,
and only read them occasionly. as you need tiome to pass, before anything meaninful
comes...
one reading is enough to reflect on, and its often better the first time, and
then it disintigrates into gibberish, as the point has been made, and you've lost
the plot again.
Sometimes its safer and easier to read for other people, your not attached
to the emotion belong, and like crowley said, using the tarot to find enlightenment
is like trying to find enlightment at the bottom of a bottle of alcahol. so
its a warning not to take things way too far, and theres a time for action, and
a time to say nothing, and do nothing. however people can get emotional, and
if your stuck doing a reading, your going to have to encounter delicate issues.
i have had one storey. where another ex, who read playing cards recounted a storey of
a voice in her head, which told her the name of the rapiest, and instructed her
what to say. which was to go into counciling, which i belive she did. This
isn't normal, at least i've not had any voices cut in with facts, and or details
while tarot reading...
Actually i seem light on facts, unless i know them already, its really anoying,
as i hate cold reading and filling in the details from what i know. which sometimes
you ahve to do, if you ahve no time, no cards and no input. its like what am i doing
here, speaking my mind, the first thing which comes on my head, is that really how
you do it? (yes) and if so, can i trust it, and what is my ethics on this.
you can't control people, you can help them explore and issue, and raise something
which is troubling them, and what is troubling them, often springs out of the cards,
and no amount of forcing it will make it fit their verble explanation, and in this
case, you should certainly trust the cards! its embarassing to ignore your gut,
only to find what you thought was right, so don't hold it back, and spit it out.
then you get an awful spead, and you end up with the seven of disks, as the conclusion,
and while i may get an image in my head, later of it turning to the six of disks,
it doesn't really help when its not at the time of the reading. how do i go, your
screwed, and make it diplomatic and constructive, fortunatly shes a psychic and
i think she got the idea.
and it rang a bell, as she said she need a goal, no i have no idea, if that means
it was sucesful or i should have passed something on, does thinking on the
image and what do you say? its hard to do on email, and i hate it. i'd rather do
it over the phone, or in person.
something more reassuring when they the quarrent does the shuffle. however on that
occasion i did another reading for myself, as she was falling into the same trap
i was in, but i got a compleatly different reading, and i prefer it when it get
the pleasure signs, as at least i know i'm on the right track, and hit the nail
on the head.
i'm a woose, scared of getting it wrong, and yet if you don't try, you never learn.
confidence comes with being thrown in with the sharks, and having to defend yourself,
i work better when i have no time to think, and have to just come out and say it,
more gets done that way.
stressing over it, isn't going to help. you have to step back, reflect and do something
else instead, as someone is always going to be better then you, and psychics are
either good, or crap or just learning, and i think i fall into the crap bracket,
as i talk expectations down, close my eyes and hope for the best.
Bizarely i've also been told i'm good, as it even works for role play questions,
which is something you might want to try on courses, if you have nothing to talk
about. the idea is conenct the cards andcome up to the point.
now before the cynics start to moun, and cry foul what you have to realise is the
thoth deck, isn't subtle with first timers, and it tends to be a little two obvious,
and unambigious and you'd be screwed to try and read into it. when you get two paths
one with sucess, the other failure, doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that
one out. further the more card syou have, the more it reinforces the point.
so many meanings, so many combinations and each slot meaning something else, and
it kind of just leaps out of you, which is how you know how to trust it or not,
its a guiding light, a tool, nothing more

Howver combined with my psycic experiments, and other experiences i've learnt to
treat it with a health dose of respect, and some cynisism as well, as my quality
varies, and so does most psychics, and if your not doing it regulary, you might
want to refresh your ideas, as if your finding yourself forcing the cards down the
same route, your going to hit problems... your mind has to be flexible, and pick
the links out.
so in order to be good, and i mean the best your going to have to be able to know
how to relate any possibility to a spread, as if you only know a few meanings, and
your not prepared to listen to yourself your only going to come down with watered
crap. which may be good, but its not going to impress the sharks.
unfortunatly, if your learning to read, and your thrown into teh deep end, your
either going to get really good, fast, and convince the lot, or your going to get
so horribly burnt, you may never want to do it again. i got burnt, but not with
tarot. i read into something once, and i was wrong, but it was with dreams,
when i thought my nan had died. then when she died a few years later, i got nothing
instead, and all this tought me, was the mind can play tricks and they can lie to
you, which was the point of the lesson, some people are so sure, its right, and
then...
whats your state of mind like? whats your prejudice? whats your view? have you tainted
the reading? are you tryinf to force it? ar eyou biased? are you good? or have you
let hte power, go to your head? i've seen psychics, professionals where given a
storey, which is neutral and down the middle, pick out the bad and use it against
you, try and break you to make you become dependant. others will take the same kind
of information and use it the otherway. this was off a dating site, mind for women,
and i'd cringe at what they were like.
you have an ethical responsibility, to tell them the truth, and to relay oppinion,
while at the same time not getting emotionally involved and or trying to control
them, they have options, nothings predetermined (at least i think not) and you have
to make that clear. their choice, their responsiblity, and well its their
life, what are you asking me for!
oh yeah, right. tarot, where was i again?
As there is no middle ground, when it comes to words. its
give and take and when you can lead people in any
direction. you have to makes sure you don't, or is that what i've
been doing wrong. arse
so frankly you would have to be insane, to want to ry and do this professionaly,
and well if you want me to, i will. just don't say i didn't warn you.
if you want me to do your thinking for you. i am a satanist, and well. you have
been warned. i will not be subtle, i will not be sweet, and i will more then likely
either be crap, and say nothing, or i will be blunt and break you like a twig. now
are you sure you want to read me, and what happens if i see something, and use it
for my own selfish ends....
and well i rarely get asked, and now you know why. So i think thats my answer. seems i can do nothing right,
and so how will I know, and how will Ilearn,
if I don't try. surely you want a reading, and if not why not! i'm working my ass
of here.
no humour? no sence of fun? and so it goes, what is the point?
there is no point, and i'm stuck with either talking this up, or talking this down, and
arse how do i do this again? perhaps begineers need to feel compfy in the same crowd. and if your not careful you forget what you thought...
Now before moving on to more diverse teachings, and as i keept getting the voice "weaker
then me" which meant i went back and rewrote the begining, this is pissing me off.

relax and start over, go slow and be dropped in the deep end, with the

i've stayed out of it, and concentrated on the psychic side, and its not helped
me much. in fact its dropped me in the shit. so perhaps one should forget about
it, and do something else instead.
Meditation helps, auras,
clairvoyance, sex magick, energy
psychometry, dreams, astral projection and yet all the rest, make that harder then it seems, and well you have to well loose the fear, before
you can be in a position to help anyone else.
